Williamsburg claims to be business, tourist, and environmentally friendly. Yet, they are considering a ban on pedicabs in the Historic District. A pedicab tour is a fun, exciting, green way to experience the unique history of Williamsburg. It also serves the needs of the elderly, and people with mobility issues. If Williamsburg succeeds in this effort, Colonial Pedicab will be out of business. Many other localities promote pedicab businesses as a welcome addition to transportation and entertainment. Unfortunately, if the ban is passed, locals and visitors will never be able to have this unique experience in Williamsburg.
