The Irvine Company should be governed by the same rules, procedures and development codes as other developers such as myself.

I live in the neighboring community and believe this is a detrament to the health and safety of our neighborhood. The substation will bring the value down of our homes too.

This substation would be an ugly monstrosity and potentially dangerous as well. But leave it to The Irvine Company to even think about allowing something like this. They long ago ruined Irvine with extreme overdevelopment, allowed traffic to become intolerable, developed Newport Coast, let the city morph into something unrecognizable from what it once was, and now want to put in 6,350 more apartments and homes. It’s complete madness and it never stops! Irvine used to be a nice place to live, but I’m glad I no longer live there.

It's wrong to put this substation in our already developed community, thus risking our property values for the sake of another money making venture in another location.

I am signing the petition because it is illegal to put a residential substation in an area zoned for commercial!

It's wrong for The Irvine Co., SCE and City of Irvine to try and put this substation right in between these businesses and lower property values and expose people to possible danger. Look at the map, it's just ridiculous and wrong.
