We were doing renovations on the home to prepare for new tenants and an assault and attempted robbery took place while the house was vacant, and my brother was the victim and has been fighting for his life since the incident. Now the city wants to deem the property as a public nuisance. This will cause the property value of our home and the property value of the surrounding homes to drop tremendously as well as prevent any further enhancement of the property because we will loose equity in our home. We are being charged and forced to pay the price when we were the victims of a plotted  out attack by an uninvited assailant that came to our property with the intent to do harm. Our entire neighborhood will suffer a financial loss and burden if this property is deemed a public nuisance and put into abatement. Please help me prevent the city attorney from causing a financial hardship on hard working home owners to loose our Major investment and income when we were the victims and should be protected.
