The education system in State Government Schools is divided into various Mediums-Marathi medium,Urdu Medium, kannada medium and various other languages. The government instead of dividing the students into Regional schools can always combine the languages and subjects into one single Medium.Due to various regional Mediums the students pass in their regional language and due to this they face difficulties while passing out of colleges where ENGLISH is the major medium. The State Government educated children fails to secure good jobs and lose out to Private English schools educated students who are always far superior to the Regional medium students. We do agree that everyone should know reading and writing of their Mother Tongue. But in the 21st century when the world follows the common language for communications and employment-which is ENGLISH,why should the state government educated children suffer due to the wrong policies of Education department.

Our suggestion is ENGLISH,HINDI,MARATHI should be compulsary for all schools in Maharashtra and mother tongue and foreign languages should be optional if students are interested in learning. The portions and syllabus for both pvt schools and BMC schools should be the same.

For students who are poor in English speaking, writing and understanding, all schools should have a compulsary english training class for such students as this will help them to cope up in the competition.

Teachers selected by BMC are of the lowest quality and they are recruited only for the basis of employment for Votes as decided by political parties and leaders.THIS HAS TO CHANGE.Change an come only if you have High Quality Teachers with excellent academic skills and qualification.WE HAVE SEEN BMC CALLING FOR TEACHERS TRAINING AND EXPLAINING IN MARATHI EVEN TO ENGLUSH MEDIUM PVT SCHOOL TEACERS.This itself shows that BMC is incapable een to run the Teacher Training Centres.

As I am from N WARD,I have seen there is more than 60 BMC schools. We suggest BMC to convert 50% into English Medium schools upto 10th std,20% into junior colleges and technical institute centres,20% into senior colleges till graduation in all streames and 10% into Teachers and students all round development TRAINING CENTRES with assistance from various local NGO's.If this is implemented in all wards, the overall eduation system will improve tremendously.HEALTH AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL CENTRES Can also be operated at the schools and training centres with promotion of GENERIC MEDICAL SHOPS by appointing BMC Doctors to subscribe GENRIC MEDICINES.

With forced RTE in Pvt schools, nothing is going to change.Inspite of 25%RTE, the pvt schools still do not admit poor children.THERE IS NO PROPER REASONING AND CONROL OVER PRVATE SCHOOLS.The commitment gien to private schools are timely release of 25% RTE funds ncluding Teachers salary. But the government never pays the schools on time and expect full free services which is never possible as Overhead costs for the schools keep on increasing and there comes a time when the schools are unable to accept more liabilities.

EITHER THE SCHOOLS SHOUD BE PAID N TIME OR 100%TAX WAIVER FOR PVT SCHOOLS SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED.

Teachers qualification should start from MA Bed and above teachers from pvt institutions also should be provided opportunities in BMC Schools to improve their standards.TEACHERS are also professonals same like doctors, engineers, film stars, businessmen. So why so much disrepency and Partialty in putting an age limit for Appointment of Teachers in State Goverment Schools.TEACHERS ARE ALWAYS THE FOUNDATION OF FUTURE INDIA WHO GENERATE AND CREATE FUTURE LEADERS.

SO WE REQUEST AND CALL ON THE STATE GOVERNMENT TO REVIEW THE EDUCATION POLICY AND CREATE ANEQUAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE STUDENTS AND TEACHERS.

The government spends more than 3500crore for children with books and study materials inclusive of uniforms as claimed by the government. But we have seen schools in Ghatkopar where students are not provided uniforms, books, shoes, umbrellas even till the middle of the year.So here does this money goes. The state leaders fight to select contractors for uniforms and study materials for their SELFISH REQUIREMENTS and in this bargain the students suffer. The government provides only 1 SET of uniform. How can a student attend school only with one set of uniform and books. The students should be provided with 3SETS OF UNIFORM,2 SETS OF TEXTBOOKS,4 DOZEN Notebooks ,2 SET OF WATER BOTTLES,PENCIL BOXES,TIFFIN BOX,GEOMETRY BOX,CRAYONS ETC.

DEAR GOVERNMENT-AS A TAX PAYER WE DO NOT MIND IF OUR TAX MONEY IS SPENT ON EDUCATION RATHER THAN SOME UNEDUCATED POLITICIANS MISUSING OUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

PLEASE CREATE AN ATMOSPHERE WHERE EDUCATION S GIVEN TOP PRIORITY AND CANCEL ALL BENEFITS F FAMILIES WHO DO NOT EDUCATE THEIR CHILDREN.
