India has seen a rise in pollution due to firecracker use in areas like Delhi, which is known as one of the most polluted cities in India today. Due to bursting crackers on Diwali, the air and noise pollution is increasing drastically.  This petition is to raise awareness of the harmful effects of Diwali, and we pledge for all families celebrating the joyful festival to reduce their consumption of firecrackers, encouraging more usage of green public transport for travels during the festival and celebrating more with rangoli, diyas, and great food rather than glorifying pollution.

Nature wants an eco-friendly Diwali. This Diwali let's make nature as bright as the festival. Let's pledge to go green and keep our city clean!
