The climate crisis effects everyone. Leading scientists have warned that we have 12 years to take emergency action on climate change, or we face the gravest threats to our local and global environment. We must act urgently, make awareness and make a change in order to save the environment.

If we let this continue as it is then it shall only get worse with temperatures rising each year causing heat waves that put people at a large risk of heat stroke and even death, worsening droughts and floods risks. The ice caps are still melting, the ozone layer is a bit still deteriorating. Animal and plant life is at risk with more and more species becoming extinct.

Humans have caused major climate damage that effects us all... But its not too late to make a change. The UN will hold a Climate Action Summit on 23rd September 2019 to discuss the climate crisis. Greta Thunberg, an activist fighting to save the planet will attend, she is the creator of #FridaysForFuture and the #GlobalClimateStrike which will be on the 20th and 27th of September 2019 (https://globalclimatestrike.net

This petition is in hopes that we can get this petition to Parliament with enough signatures in so the climate criss receives parliamentary recognition and action. Please sign this to make people aware of the climate crisis and organisations that are trying to halt worsening of the climate as well as Parliamentary intervention.
