We are smack dab in the middle of this beautiful northern part of Louisiana. We have Vicksburg, MS with it’s casinos and battlefield museums on one end of our stretch of i20, and Shreveport/Bossier with their casinos and very few family activities on the other end. While Shreveport does possess a water park, we all know it to be run down. 

West Monroe has many great walking trails, restaurants, an expo center for seasonal events, and a few child friendly places to play such as: Surge Entertainment and Excalibur Family Fun Center. Although these places do offer a fun time, they’re both lacking one thing. Water! We live in a very warm state with not very many places for families to swim due to all of the critters in our natural waters, and a water park would be just the ticket for a nice way to beat the heat. 

This park would bring in tons of jobs and revenue for the city, and could even be an indoor park to be able to stay open all year round to allow for more money to come in.

Our suggested location is near the Ike Hamilton Expo Center to allow for i20 access as well as various Hotels and Restaurants for visitors.

We are simply asking anyone with the power to invest in our lovey city to please do so.
