Say No to 7 year term extension
0 have signed. Let’s get to 1,000!
The 10th Parliament yesterday 20th December 2017 voted to extend the term of office of all elected leaders from the constitutional 5 years which we elected them for to 7 years. By so doing they are disregarding the social contract we entered into with them by voting them to lead us for 5 years. It is worth noting that under the current legal constitution, one can only be voted into a political office BUT NOT LEGISLATED INTO OFFICE!
By signing this petition, you are reaffirming the rule of law and respect of the common voter. We are looking for 12000 signatures to get this petition to be discussed and put on record in parliaments of Uganda and East Africa.
