Alex Brown, the lovable Hambone, for the past 60 years has seen people and businesses come and go in downtown Indianola. The one constant that has always remained the same over the past 60 years in downtown Indianola is Hambone. Hambone is an iconic fixture in downtown Indianola and has spent his working career in downtown Indianola. 

We, the citizens of Indianola want to name the alley downtown that goes by the Crown, Hambone Alley.
