Our country, Bharat is losing its original culture. We the citizens of India are forgetting our roots.! This petition is for bringing back the grand celebration of happy, hearty and enlightening festivals such as Guru Poornima. We must get holidays for schools, colleges, offices etc., on this auspicious day. In Bharat, Guru is considered as the one who leads us towards light from darkness. He is the one who re-unites the Jeevatma(human soul) to the Paramatma(supreme soul). The souls of such great gurus should be prayed to and we should completely surrender ourselves to them. This wonderful concept of Guru Poornima brings joy and devotion towards our guide of life and salvation.
