On March 23, 2020 at 5:03 pm my 17 year old son Ricky king 3rd was shot multiple times with a assault riffle coming out of his grandmother’s house on the 3900 block of Ridgewood street in Broad daylight on a small block with many home owners. Ricky was a 17 year old young man with a bright future looking forward to finishing school obtaining his CDL’s starting a career as tractor trailer driver on the road so that he could see the world. He was the oldest child out of his mother Janeen wilson other two children. Ricky was like the man of the house always protective over his mother , younger sister , and younger brother. Ricky was a loving , caring, funny ,out going , respectful young man that was loved by many and would do anything to help anyone in need. Anyone that known him loved and enjoyed begin around him. He was looked up to by his younger siblings and cousin’s. Ricky was the type of young man that made everyone laugh , he was always making jokes or doing funny things to brighten up anyone’s day. Ricky was a young man growing up in the inter city that has experience many difficulties in his life like most of our youth in this city. Father not begin active in his life, causing him to fall victim to the many bad influences and getting in to trouble in his younger ages. By the grace of God I refuse to allow the streets to have my son. Ricky had Got into some trouble and had to spend some time at the Woodboune center. As a mother I didn’t want  to be without my child everyday but I prayed about it and realize it was the best thing to do to save my son from the streets.Ricky successful complete the program in less time that was Recommended. Ricky came home a completely different young man and finally understood what I’ve been telling him about these street of Baltimore. He was finally coming into the young man that I raised him to be. I was so proud of my son and looked forward to seeing him finish everything that he wanted to accomplish and become until his life was taking from myself and our family. Please help me get JUSTICE for Ricky king 3rd.
