Suspects fighting back in arrests has been the usual excuse for the police to shoot them. But the recent killing of and 11th grader, 17-year-old Kian Loyd Delos Santos on 16th of August activated a widespread public crime. The police claimed that Delos Santos exchanged fire with the Caloocan police which opposes to the evidences and witnesses proving his innocence and defiance to the authorities.

Since President Duterte came to power, he has faced a widespread criticism from human rights groups locally and internationally claiming he is taking the rights of possible victims for a fair trial.

Extrajudicial killings may place the country in big trouble if left unchecked and uninvestigated. As Filipino citizens, we have the power to defend our rights, our fellow citizens, and our country with justice. We, the citizens should be informed of the issues that our country faces and we should participate in voicing out our opinions about the matter. This is the right time to start demanding our rights that were deprived of by the government. It is now the time for everyone to gather and make a better change not only for the citizens but also for the families of the victims misrepresented by the justice system of the current administration.

Recently, we have heard several news about extrajudicial killings anywhere in the Philippines. Concerning this matter, we as representatives of the youth would like to voice out our concerns as human rights of individual. We demand careful study about the matter to be able to seek the right justice.

To make this campaign powerful, we would like to seek help from the public Attorneys Office (PAO) and Commission on Human Rights (COH). We believe that with their help, we have a strong foundation for our campaign. Social media has a great contribution in today's generation. We believe that through advertising, our voices could be noticed by the officials responsible for this case.
