Climate change is a very big problem that is causing the world to become much more and more of a dangerous place to for all intents and purposes live in. The lives of many people are getting ruined by these effects of climate change and we need to reduce these effects as soon as possible. Hyderabad is one of the cities in India that is experiencing a lot of air pollution and in turn, causing an increase in climate change. There are barely any actions that are being taken up to reduce the amount of air pollution and climate change which is leading to more and more problems. The problem of climate change is not a well-known problem in Hyderabad and generally is taken lightly. Due to this, Hyderabad is losing its battle against climate change and part of that is due to its poor waste management. Hyderabad generates 7.51 lakh tons of waste or 751,000,000 kg of waste, and of that waste, only 20% is recycled, and on top of that, when waste is landfilled, only 10% of the recyclable waste can be recycled, so it is wet waste, Wet waste is also considered kitchen waste, which includes cooked food, raw vegetables, fruit and vegetable peelings, etc. This waste is mixed with recyclable waste and when sent to the state landfill for separation, it cannot separate wet waste, recyclable waste is not sufficiently separated, and cannot recycle non-recycled waste. 

The Organic Waste Converters (OWC) are used to convert wet organic waste into valuable compost for organic farming.
