Urge Cipla not to stop Lopinavir syrup for HIV children in India

HIV/AIDS is a deadly disease for which no permanent cure has been found. There are about 140,000 children in India who live with this deadly infection, who need to be continuously treated with a critical medicine like Lopinavir.
Cipla is the sole manufacturer of Lopinavir, a syrup for children living with HIV, in India. If Cipla stops manufacturing Lopinavir, many of these children are at high risk of acquiring life threatening infections because of their low immunity.
As aspiring individuals, we gain something from this world every day. Isnt it a small gesture to help those, from whom life takes something away every day ?
The article at "http://www.thehindu.com/sci-tech/health/india-runs-out-of-lifesaving-hiv-drug-for-children/article17413822.ece" clearly shows the different parties involved (Government, Cipla, and NGOs). While it is true that the Government has failed in its duty to make on-time payments, this petition is made in good faith to Cipla to help children continue to get medicines on time, and give them a chance at living.
Please support the cause of HIV children !
