Early Dismissal Proposal
Why do we end school at 3:30? Although having longer blocks increases learning time, which can help us learn more things in one class, we still barely receive breaks in the middle, thus lowering our performance. Last Year we got school to end earlier so why can’t we do the same for in-person? Last year in health and fitness we learned that humans need to move and do activities to stay healthy. I know that the school was trying to keep us moving by allowing us to move classes but it sometimes feels like some classes are way too long. I highly doubt someone will be able to keep their brain working at its peak for long, let alone the whole school day. We are teenagers working in one space for an hour and a half can make us less focused on the work. Also, these facts show that people from other cohorts agree with me about this statement. We Know Administration Put A Lot Of Effort Trying To Make A Schedule With Many Transitions But We Think It Could Be Improved.
