Jay Hall started this petition to Church of England and

Reverend Robinson-Brown should resign or be sacked from his role at the CofE for his flippant racist remarks towards the late, great Sir Captain Tom Moore.

The cleric, newly appointed to a prestigious post by the Bishop of London, the Right Reverend Sarah Mullally, added that he would not join Wednesday night's national clap to mark the passing of Captain Tom.

He responded to the veteran’s death by tweeting: ‘The cult of Captain Tom is a cult of White British Nationalism. I will offer prayers for the repose of his kind and generous soul, but I will not be joining the “National Clap”.’

Obviously, this is a flat out racist remark towards the White British people and should be taken extremely seriously as an insult to all of those who rightly perceive Sir Captain Tom's sacrifices for our Great and Proud Country in the highest regard.

I hereby call on the CofE, Archbishop Justin Welby and the Bishop of London, the Right Reverend Sarah Mullally to release Robinson-Brown from his position immediately.
