Since the removal of the 6th year common room  a few years ago, the current 6th years have no adequate study space or places to spend their free periods. This is unacceptable as it is expected that the 6th years  should give back their free periods to help the school and help younger years yet the school cannot provide an acceptable place for us to study. Our only option is the street, yet as this is the central area of the school and usually has many people moving around it, its not a very good space to study as its an incredibly disruptive area. Considering the fact that the population in the school has sky-rocketed, lunches have become incredibly overcrowded and having a common room would leave more space for younger years. The old common room has been turned into a space for table tennis. These tables are foldable and moveable, and we have expressed that we are happy to move these tables and fold them back out when needed as long as it meant we had access to the space.
