Cupertino SAHA was rejected to be a club even though South Asians are one of the largest groups on campus. It was rejected because a club supposedly does the same thing as us. That club is an amazing Indian dance team however they do not do the same thing as us which is educate people about South Asian culture. There is no reason to have rejected us as a club. Thats why this petition is so important. If we can get enough signatures we can show the clubs commision just how popular this club will be and possibly make them reconsider thwir decision.
