Why does the Canadian Revenue Agency continue to demonize the self employed entertainment industry in Toronto Canada by denying law abiding tax paying citizens the right to CERB and CRB Application Eligibility during a Pandemic when Prime Minister Trudeau said he would be there for all Canadians.

We had our industry completely shut down with no way to make an income that we created and are taxed on but many of us have recently experienced the wrath of the CRA either in the form of having to pay back all the CERB money or having our CRB Applications stalled online because the CRA after already paying us decides to investigate with no explanation and cut off our eligibility. 50 percent of federal revenue comes from individual income taxes, 7 percent from corporate income taxes so it's obvious who you need to be investigating.

We feel this is an illegal and unconstitutional process because it's not a formal assessment or audit and it comes with no merit. Just a plain old witch hunt because they can't figure out the people defrauding the system. We need our payments re-instated immediately and as tax paying Canadians and Self Employed Professionals deserve better from our Government and Federal Agencies!.
