Due to the coding of supplemental employees They are not allowed to vote for stewards or Shop committee they are allowed to vote for only the local 9 officers. However the very people they see every shift for hours on end that are placed to represent them are only voted in by full timers. It has been this way for over 20 years due to the way Supplemental Employees were used. In 2021 the use of Supplemental Employees was changed drastically. We are over due for change and solidarity starts with us. Let us show them that supplemental , full time , retirees all agree that the union body supplemental and full time as a whole should uphold the right to vote for representation. We need 500-600 signatures from JNAP/DACJ hourly workers to sign this petition so that supplemental employees are allowed the same right to vote. Supplemental employees are held at such high standards and expected to maintain almost perfect performance as well as attendance yet are denied certain voting rights.  If Supplemental Employees were allowed to vote then steward/Committeepersons level of representation could be Affective. Just because it has been this way does not mean it has to stay this way. The change starts with us so let us show each other what other Chrysler, StellantisUs facilities show that our supplemental employees matter. Their voices matter and we will stand with our brothers and sisters in the union in solidarity we stand. Lets be the change we talk about seeing. With this petition we can have a special union meeting discussing the matter bringing it to a vote. We supplemental employees appreciate all that stand with us and behind us
