Prioritize Post-Secondary Educational Funding

University is becoming increasingly expensive in BC, hurting the prospects of BC’s economy.  Affordable education must be made a priority to ensure long term economic prosperity and to meet projected future demands for skilled workers.

Students are incurring high levels of debt to finance their education and high levels of student debt reduces likelihood a person will attend post-secondary education. British Columbia needs an educated workforce for its economic future. Cuts to post-secondary funding ultimately harm students and the taxpayer’s investment in them.
