We have found that a guidance counselor in Bergenfield High School has supported inappropriate and intolerant views by supporting treason of the United States. With such claim, we believe it is unacceptable and intolerable to display such behavior, especially when Laura Laporta counsels children of color. It is a threat to children's well being, confidence and mental development when said things are being done. When a educational faculty member has these kinds of "views," they can and will project onto students negatively.

Supporting a leader of such can be and will be seen as fascist, intolerant, and racist. Bergenfield Alumni and our supporting allies do not believe that she is acceptable as a guidance counselor for children and will cause damage to children while exerting these beliefs and ideations is dangerous to the community and we will not tolerate the intolerant.
