Say "NO" to a car park development on Marlescroft Way's green space

Residents of Oakwood Hill Estate stand to lose their largest green space. Please make your voice known to stop this happening!

Epping Forest District Council are planning to relocate services including their maintenance department to the Oakwood Hill depot opposite the housing estate. 75 new staff car parks are proposed to enable this. One solution being discussed is to use the green space at the end of Marlescroft Way for this development. This would increase traffic, reduce aesthetic appeal, and remove a valuable recreational space. Also, this was not part of the original plan for the depot.

The issue will be debated on the 7th of September at the council cabinet meeting. We need to show at this early stage of planning that this option is unwanted and at the expense of the wellbeing of residents. By petitioning Councillor Christopher Roberts, he will be better able to represent our voice at this council meeting.
