Stop the closure of the iresearch centre during school report

Why is BBC school report a higher priority than the rest of the school? Why close a public room that is for everyone just to benefit a few people involved in a so-called "news" production that doesn't seem to change at all from year to year.
I've been reliably informed that most of the library isn't even used: only about 5 computers and one section is used. So why is the entire library completely restricted for the rest of the school? Some of those people have things they need to do - homework, private projects - that they would certainly consider more important than school report.
And why are they using the iresearch centre for this anyway? They're only using a small part of it after all. So why is it that they get priority over us in a public room? Why can't they use a media classroom?
To conclude: the iresearch centre is a public facility for the benefit of all students, and we shouldn't have to suffer for the benefit of a few "journalists" who think they're better than us.
