The impact of covid-19 has changed our lives indefinitely. Like many challenges we must stay fluid to meet the changing demands. In an effort to safeguard our children who are not eligible to be vaccinated, I am creating a petition to mandate masks in schools and offer online learning as an option.  As parents of children ages 5 to 11, we have gone through many adversities over the last year. It is obvious what the data has shown, mask usage mitigates the spread of covid-19.

Parents should be allowed the option to educate their kids safely. Our schools must allow an online option to educate our children at home since they are the unvaccinated due to an age ineligibility.

My daughter is 7 years old and has asthma. We will be utilizing the online option until she is vaccinated. As, of this date the district is not even offering an online option, condemning our children to inevitable COVID exposure!

Many parents cannot afford or don't have the choice to educate their children online. Their children must be provided a safe environment with safety mandates in place, such as masks.
