Christians constitute 48.5% of the Nigerian population with 70% of that of voting age. 
Despite this, Christians in Nigeria have not converted their numerical strength to their political advantage. 
The Church in Nigeria needs to develop a political blueprint which will form the basis of future political and partisan participation.

The crises of political, economic and social unrests being experienced by the Nigerian nation occurred when Christians were out of the power bloc or equation. 
The downward curve of the Nigerian experience politically, economically and socially took place when enemies and opposition to the great destiny of the Nigeria nation took charge of the nation.
