Australia  and it's people are  proud of their history. 

We are battlers !

Over the years thousands of our people have given their lives for us to live in the freedom that we know today. 

My family is not alone . 

Many  Australian families have relatives and friends scattered all over the globe that gave their life so we could  cherish that freedom under our Flag.

If people cannot respect our flag, how can they respect the people and the country  that fly's that flag and gives these people a safe home?

These people have their freedom , fought for by us, to protest about their cause , but should not use the Australian flag to draw attention to that cause.

I am asking for it to become a criminal offence for a person or persons that deliberately destroy the Australian flag and I am calling on the Australian people to sign this petition .
