Right now, PMHS basketball games have limited spectators. At other schools in our section and county, there are no limits on spectators. In other sports in Pelham there are no limits on spectators. People can be socially distanced, wear masks, and follow the same protocols as they do in other schools where there are no limits on spectators. There is no reason for basketball to be limited, and it is a huge setback especially to the seniors in their final season. Fans lead to energy boosts and they intensify games, and basketball is no different than the other sports that have unlimited access. Pelham Basketball deserves to have unlimited spectators.
