One of the greatest history professors at the esteemed Christendom College deserves more classes than he has. By allowing Dr. John Devanny to teach an upper level class, Christendom students, both those who major or minor in history, as well as those who don't, would have the opportunity to receive a cutting-edge perspective of not just how and when historical events occurred, but most importantly, why. Dr. Devanny's method of teaching history is sorely needed in these modern times, and there are many current Christendom students who desire to study history in this manner. In fact, there has been a rumor circulating that Dr. Devanny might actually be working on a Civil War elective class at the moment. This petition is intended to inform Christendom College of the desire of its students to study upper-level classes under Dr. John Devanny.
