BD BOTTLE LIMITED has applied to open BOTTLE O PAPANUI on 30 Main North Road, Papanui on 28 September.

It’s proposed opening hours would be from MONDAY TO SUNDAY 10.00 AM TO 10.00 PM.

Our papanui community has more than enough Off-License liquor stores already! We don’t need another! We don’t need more social harm!” We strongly object to the new liquor store in Papanui because there are already 3 liquor stores, 2 supermarkets and too many bars and restaurants that sell alcohol and Papanui high school is just 600 mt far from the proposed site. As part of the local community I don't think we need another liquor store in this area. I  submitted my objection to council today and I request to other people to object this new liquor store. I haven’t heard one person say it should be open. This is totally horrible if the council grants new license in papanui. 

We should raise our voice and submit your objection to city council. If no one objects, then this will simply go through.
