Extend Groynes Dog Park - More Park 2 Bark

Leftover land from the completion of the Western Belfast Bypass could extend the Groynes Dog Park allowing “more park 2 bark”

Four to Five thousand weekly dog park visitors and their pets need safe spaces to exercise and socialise. There is diverse wildlife in other areas of the Groynes and an extension will let their dogs run off-leash over a greater area.

99% of the infrastructure is in place, including suitable fencing for a dog park bordering the motorway bypass but there are no plans to utilise it. Allowing dogs and their owners in is a logical and cost-effective use of the space.
