An alcohol ban in Woolston Village.

An alcohol ban in Woolston Village.
Why this petition matters

Are you, like me, sick of people being harassed, of vandalism, litter, and alcohol-related incidents in Woolston Village? An alcohol ban could make a difference.
It is not the solution, but it is one concrete step that we could get the Council to take to help us as a community: An alcohol ban would mean the Police could move people on who are drinking on the street furniture or walking around carrying open containers of alcohol in the Village; it would mean it would be an offense to be out on the street drinking.
Alcohol bans have been successful in other areas in reducing incidents and making it easier for local people and businesses to get the Police to respond to troublesome individuals.
You can help by signing this petition and encouraging others to do so as well.
If you own one of the liquor stores or the Supermarket, perhaps you could consider not selling to people you know are causing trouble.
