Why this petition matters

Started by Jessa Coates

While we respect our governor's COVID-19 "Stay at Home" order it does not make sense that public parks, hairdressers and retail shops will begin to open but sports clubs will remain closed.  Our community both adults and youth need to be allowed access to facilities where they can exercise while still following the CDC's social distancing guidelines.  This is important not just for our communities physical health but our states mental health as well.

Some of the basic Guidelines for Facilities would include: Clean and Wipe Down equipment, Extra daily cleaning guidelines in both lobby and gym areas, hand sanitation areas set up through out  facility, Limit number of people in the facility, limit number of people on each court to 10 or less, reduce rentals to half resources (example if you have 4 courts- rent 2 at a time), Ask people to not arrive early to their scheduled court rental and stagger court rental times, social distancing in common areas, prohibiting spectators, PPE warm by staff.

Some of the basic guidelines for players would include: wash hands before entering gym and after leaving court, wipe down all equipment bringing into facility, recommend masks, no hand shaking/high fives, avoid touching face.

We hope you will join us in asking the Governor and the NH Economic Re-Opening Task Force to consider this petition.  Please sign and share!!
