Save Richard Boyle - ATO whistleblower

Australia needs to steer away from laws that severely punish whistleblowers who have reported clear and gross misconduct by government institutions.

Richard Boyle has is risking a 161 year jail sentence for reporting the unethical debt collecting practice of the ATO. Whatever laws he may have broken in the process to bring this information to the public eye does not warrant 161 years, and he should have never been placed in a position that would expose him to such a potential jail sentence.

Laws like this are clearly draconian and need to be reviewed so this doesn't deter good people from trying to help the public by pointing out the deficiencies/issues in our government.
