In November 2020 the NSW government announced funding to prepare the business case for the $200 million transformations of Netstrata Jubilee Stadium – as part of its suburban stadium's strategy.

The business case is underway and the NSW government is working with Georges River Council to plan and deliver a new community experience that will not simply be a football ground but a community and recreational precinct for future generations.

Transformation of the stadium precinct will include new grandstands and a rectangular field for use by all football codes, an aquatic facility with 50m and 25m indoor pools and health and wellness facilities such as hydrotherapy and rehabilitation services. The upgraded stadium will cater for local grassroots football right through to professional and international fixtures.

Multi-purpose indoor courts will cater for the high local demand for basketball, table tennis and badminton courts and will complement the expanded home for Kogarah Community Services and a special needs child care centre.

Over 800 basement car parking spaces will provide parking on game day and for entertainment, concerts, cultural events and local markets which will offer year-round activities alongside the new exhibition and cultural space, the Legends Walk and a Sporting Hall of Fame.

The football communities of Georges River, Dragons and Sky Blue supporters, local swimmers, basketballers and community groups call on the NSW government and local members Chris Minns MP, Steve Kamper MP and Mark Coure MP to support the Council's vision and transform the precinct for utilisation by all sporting codes, both amateur and professional.

Act now and sign this petition and it will be tabled in Parliament as a strong show of support for the transformation of Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.
