Keep smoking age in New Jersey 19

Chris Christie has recently passed a bill raising the age to buy tobacco products from 19 to 21. This will take affect in 4 months.
This bill includes cigarettes, tobacco products, and electronic cigarettes such as "vapes". This will cause many problems however. Those who already smoke will no longer be able to purchase tobacco products and will be forced to wait at least a year, or take their business to other nearby states, such as Pennsylvania.
This will also have a significant impact on job searching for young adults. Many retail jobs involve selling tobacco products. You must be 19 currently, however, once this bill takes affect, you must be 21. This limitation will severely stunt employment for young adults. Just a few examples of jobs where you will be expected to sell tobacco products include smoke shops, vape shops, gas stations, convenience stores, and some grocery stores. Those who already have those jobs, will be forced to find work elsewhere, rendering them unemployed because of this bill, even if they weren't smokers. This will significantly increase unemployment rates in young adults, making it harder to live independently at a young age.
With your help, young adults in the workforce as well as those who wish to continue expressing their right to use tobacco products might just have a chance.
