With the amount of space Elgin has and the amount of families moving in, come more dog owners. Having a park to be able to let our furry loved ones run around would make it so much easier to take them to the park to walk and play! 
Also there are signs that say to pick up after your pet but no pet waste station throughout the parks. 

Giving our Elginites the opportunity to better socialize our community and fur babies.

Not an apartment sized dog park.  A dog park a town could be proud to bring their dog to come play and let energy out in. 

There are plenty of spots to make this happen!
