Grant Nims a Permit to Climb Shishapangma for Project Possible

Mountaineer Nirmal Purja (Nims) is nearing completion of 'Bremont Project Possible 14/7' which is an endeavor to summit the 14 highest mountains in the world in under 7 months.  The only thing stopping him from achieving the 'impossible' is one climbing permit.

Since starting the project in April, Nims has summited 12 out of the 14 mountains over 8000m.  He is currently pushing for the summit of Manaslu.  After that, only Mount Shishapangma will be left.

The only thing stopping him now is a single permit since the Chinese Government has closed Shishapangma to climbers this year.

Through his climbing, Nims has been showing that anything is possible.  He has also shown that he is incredibly selfless.  Throughout the course of this project, he has performed several high altitude rescues, risking his own life and his own climbs in order to help bring stranded climbers down from the 'death zone' on the world's highest and most dangerous mountains.

I'm starting this petition in order to try to help a selfless, humble, and courageous person achieve what many believed was impossible.  Nims has shown that he can handle the mountain.  He is one permit away from showing the world that anything is possible.

Please join me in helping to make an appeal to the Chinese Mountaineering Association (CMA) to grant Nims a special permit to climb Mount Shishapangma this year.
