I believe Chincoteague Island should drop Misty of Chincoteague on New Year’s eve instead of the light-up horseshoe. I think that the stuffed Misty more accurately represents Chincoteague Island and it’s citizens. Also I think it would be pretty cool if they actually did drop Misty on New Year’s eve, being that no other city or town drops a stuffed pony to ring in the new year.
