Childcare network decided that keeping the doors open was a great decision for the staff and children. I whole heartedly disagree. Now the company is taking in even more children who could have been around someone with the coronavirus. It puts each and every center at risk for exposure. Childcare network is only worried about one thing, making money so that they dont have to pay each employee while being closed. When in all honesty, it should be the health of each and every child and staff member. I completely understand that some parents still have to work. I do get that! But the fact of the matter is, closing down to help prevent any exposure is better than waiting for that one case to pop up. Which is what the company is trying to do. I have asked several times what will the company do if one of the employees catches the virus? I have gotten zero answers. Is there paid leave? Will my medical bills be taken care of? What of my child? The list goes on. The health of our children is absolutely critical right now. Infants especially. Please take the time to consider signing for not only the health of our children but the staff as well. This is a scary time and childcare network staying open does more hurt than it does good.
