Dead beat parents always seem to work the system. Can’t nor would I want to force an uninvolved parent to physically participate in their child’s life but they should be held to a higher standard to financially support their child. As of now if a parent doesn’t contribute notices are sent(maybe),paycheck may be garnished, taxes intercepted, license suspended and possibly arrested. (Some counter productive)
Many single parents are forced to resort to public assistance to compensate. 
with technology that exists, now is the time to update a failing system. All late and nonpayment should be reported to the credit bureaus. Offspring should take precedence to new cars, credit cards and houses.
