Child Care Workers have one of the hardest jobs, yet they don't get rewarded for it. This job, as we know can be the most exhausting of all. Child care workers help our children learn, grow, and prepare for steps ahead. Their job is to keep our children safe while parents have to work. We rely on them so much and I believe they deserve so much more than base pay/benefits. I would feel much better sending my child to daycare knowing that the person taking care of them was able to provide for their family as well. They have to be certified and educated in order to have the job that they do- many jobs today don't require that and make more than this basic wage. PLEASE help support our child care workers by making fair wages to support them at home!
