Hello, my name is kay and I was a patient at Shepherd Prat in the Baltimore/Washington location. I was there for six days and witnessed child abuse and neglect with many patients including myself. But right now I need help its one girl by the name of Eman who helped me through everything Monday June 13. 2022 I was discharged because there was nothing mentally wrong with me and my mom knew I was growing sicker (physically) from SP. June 18th I was texted from another patient who was there as well who was discharged and alerted me that Eman attempted suicide. By that time I had already been alerting the mother and trying to contact in which I had no success. I gave her one hour to respond and after that I prayed and called CPS. They said they couldn't promise that an officer would go. I wasn't taking no for an answer and I posted to call and contact Department of Juvenile Services, CPS, or call 911 and report it as an non emergency and anonymous. I finally called 911 for an update they told me a Sheriff was going in to get in contact with her. The brother contacted us and told us "to stop and that's the best place for her" then proceeded to lie and say the mother didn't speak English so she couldn't respond to me although she is fluent in English and spoke to me once and promised to call back" once the mother started speaking they hung up. No hope, E doesn't have a lot of time. I need to provide her with an advocate and I also need help funding her therapy as well as provide her products such as bookpaper, and things to draw with, philosophy books (she loves philosophy) , daily hair products , food , and clothes as well ! And games to help the other patients who I've witnessed be abused. I also need a criminal lawyer or prosecutor! All help and donations are needed. I am also looking for a possible foster home until I can adopt her when I turn 18 in November! Thank you for reading my story.
