Petitioning Chik-Fil-A Drexel University

Remove the current Chik-Fil-A express at Drexel University

It has been dually noted throughout the decade of Chik-Fil-A's anitgay approval and continuous donations to support organizations (Pennsylvania Family Institute WinShape and many more who oppose same-sex relations and marriages. This has come into late in recent time with the CEO, Dan T. Cathy and his interview officially establishing Chik-Fil-A as an antigay gay restaurant chain. We at Drexel University are a progressive school located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with the hopes of maintaining the diverse student body that we currently have and expanding it even more and in the process do not wish to ward off those who find what the campus supports as offensive to their beliefs and life values. We ask that you support us in trying to remove this restaurant from the Drexel University campus.

Drexel University is currently in the process of a their multi-billion dollar construction project in which the campus will be revitilized and new buildings are going up. We would like to try and make it possible to remove the Chik-Fil-A located in the process in hopes of attracting different venues that support all aspects of human life.

We want to stand proud and be the Drexel Dragons that we are!
