It is disgraceful if this beautiful building is sold
It should be kept as museum and a tribute to all firemen and women who have lost their lives in.the line of duty. Shame on you Scottish Government!

I found it was fascinating and feel it provides a very important educational experience for children - it's essential they understand the seriousness of the work of the firebrigade.

It's just general common sense to keep it open for tourists maybe charging a small fee to promote upkeep and maintenance

We've lost so many Fire Stations around Scotland over the past few centuries. Its high time we preserved some as museums even if it's to the Many Firefighters who have lost their lives in the past few centuries.

We should have museums to commemorate both Edinburgh's first Fire Service in the UK as well as Glasgow's first Police force in the UK.

I come from a family of fire service members and loved my trip to Edinburgh in 2013. Preserving such a memorable space is very important.
