With the city already suffering from a great deal of air pollution leading to public health problems, we need to plant more trees, not cut them down.
With the new Defence Expo coming up in Lucknow, the plan is to clear land with 64000 trees and handing it over to HAL, which is handling for the expo.
Even though the government has plans to relocate the trees, forest officials, said that relocation of trees and plants in this season was not possible.
It is high time that we act towards conserving nature and save our trees.
I, therefore, request you to sign this petition and not let this be another Aarey.
