Subject: Supervision over the untimely demise of Cyclist Tanishk Chaudhary.

Respected Sir,
Greetings. This letter pertains to the above mentioned subject. Few days ago, the cycling fraternity lost an indivisible part of us, the pride of Dehradun, Tanishk. His demise was caused by reckless tourists, and we wish to seek your attention over the same.
Sir, Tanishk Chaudhary was a 16 year old cyclist, who was preparing for his national events, en route Chamba. As he was cycling uphill, a reckless driver with a vehicle registered in Delhi going downhill, hit his cycle, injuring him and his companions. After this, the tourist displayed no mercy, and ran away. The tourist is still on the loose.
On behalf of the entire cycling community, we are deeply angered and shaken by this incident. Tanishk was a hero; a cyclist who had in him the very spirit of Uttarakhand: Adventure and exploration. At this junction, the entire fraternity is infuriated to the core.
Sir, this is not the only incident of reckless driving that we have seen. There are countless, disheartening incidents which shatter families. And this incident, has shattered every neophyte’s spirit and belief.
On behalf of the entire cycling community, We seek your immediate attention over the issue of over-speeding on compromising routes, and also suggest fast tracking the investigation regarding the unfortunate incident. We have full faith in you, the judicial system, and hence we hope we can find justice and assurance that Uttarakhand is safe for all of us.
