The new statue erected at Jallianwala Bagh at Sri Amritsar is a total disrespect to the great man Shaheed Udham Singh. Shaheed Udham Singh sacrificed his life for the freedom of India and he took the revenge for the massacre of Jallianwala Bagh by killing Sir Michael O’dwyer at London.
The famous image of Sardar Udham Singh with a book in one hand and a pistol in the other is a more befitting image.
The new statue must be replaced immediately.
