Local Bus and Rail transport will bring freshness and safety to the congested roads of this small town . Pondicherry residents are suffering without any new developments in transport sector.

Pondicherry is a small city and Nehru street is our cherished business location.Building just one car parking place will not solve any problem .Bike parking is now over crowded and this can be controlled only by providing good attractive AC buses through Nehru Street. AC Buses can carry 50 people and be very useful in summer and rainy  days. PRTC could provide a bus every 10mins during evening hours. When more people like students,families and tourists use PRTC buses the parking problem will reduce quickly and it's much more safe and comfortable to use the bus during rain or hot summer days.

Also we need metro rail starting from beach station and connecting to Villupuram . 

We request the authorities to initiate these attractive and sustainable plans to save Pondicherry from pollution ,congestion and road accidents. We need sustainable transport in Pondicherry by 2030

Questions:

1.its easy for me to use my bike and drive ti anywhere.-- yes it is,but do you like waiting on road during a rain or multiple signals. Or you can use the bus for two days when you hands and legs are tired of changing the gears.

2.can we not build flyovers?-- flyovers take up lot of space and creates deadzones with no business/shops nearby .you cannot use a bicycle and hard for people walking.
