Respected Kerala Chief Minister,

This is to bring to your notice about the horrendous death of two girl children (aged 13 and 8 ) in Walayar, Kerala. As you might have heard these kids were brutally assaulted sexually before their sad death. We the common people of Kerala are dumbstruck after reading the postmortem report which was published in relation to this case.

It is certain that the investigating agency had failed miserably in concluding various pieces of evidence against culprits - one example to point out here is that there was no medical check-up initiated for the second child even after the death of the first child (with clear indications about sexual assault before her death).

The judgment in these cases have been extremely dissatisfactory and deeply saddening for the law-abiding citizens of the state. The mere thought of culprits roaming around freely in our society makes us really vulnerable and insecure.

Our request is to initiate a full-fledged reinvestigation by CBI in this case. Our humble submission is to ensure that the culprits are prosecuted legally and brought to justice. We sincerely hope you can help the people of Kerala by taking this forward-looking decision.

We strongly believe in the Judiciary and Government, and hence appealing to you to ensure we provide justice to those two children who died in Walayar by initiating CBI inquiry.

ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട കേരള മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിക്ക്,

കേരളത്തിലെ വാളയാർ എന്ന ഗ്രാമത്തിലെ എട്ടും പതിമൂന്നും വയസുള്ള രണ്ടു കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾ ക്രൂരമായ ലൈംഗീക പീഡനത്തിന് വിധേയരായി കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത് അങ്ങ് അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുമല്ലോ? ആ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളുടെ പോസ്റ്റ്മോർട്ടം റിപ്പോർട്ടുകൾ വായിച്ചു പൂർത്തിയാക്കാൻ പോലുമാവാതെ തരിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ് കേരളത്തിലെ സാധാരണ ജനങ്ങൾ.

ഈ കേസന്വേഷണത്തിൽ കേരള പോലീസിന് പിഴവ് പറ്റി എന്നതിൽ സംശയമേതുമില്ല. മൂത്ത കുട്ടി പ്രകൃതി വിരുദ്ധപീഢനത്തിനിരയായെന്ന റിപ്പോർട്ട് വന്നതിനു ശേഷവും ഇളയ കുട്ടിയെ വൈദ്യപരിശോധ നടത്തിയില്ലെന്നത് കേസിലെ ഒന്നാമത്തെ പാകപ്പിഴയാണ്.

ഈ കേസുകളിലെ വിധികൾ ഞങ്ങളെ തീർത്തും നിരാശരാക്കി കഴിഞ്ഞു. രണ്ടു കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ പീഡിപ്പിച്ച് കൊന്നവർ ഇന്ന് സ്വതന്ത്രരായി നമുക്കിടയിൽ ജീവിക്കുന്നുവെന്നത് കേരള ജനതയെ ഒരേ സമയം അസ്വസ്ഥരും ഭയചകിതരുമാക്കുന്നു.

വാളയാർ കേസിൽ CBI ഒരു പുനരന്വേഷണം നടത്തണമെന്നാണ് കേരള ജനതയുടെ ആവശ്യം. ശക്തമായ തെളിവുകൾ കണ്ടെത്തി പ്രതികൾക്ക് അർഹമായ ശിക്ഷ കിട്ടണമെന്നാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ ഓരോരുത്തരുടെയും ആഗ്രഹം. അത്തരത്തിലുള്ള ഒരന്വേഷണത്തിന് താങ്കൾ മുൻകയ്യെടുക്കും എന്ന് തന്നെയാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രതീക്ഷ .

നീതിന്യായ വ്യവസ്ഥയിലും ഭരണകൂടത്തിലും വിശ്വാസമുള്ളവരാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ. അതു കൊണ്ടു തന്നെയാണ് മരിച്ചു പോയ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾക്ക് നീതിക്കായി CBI അന്വേഷണം വേണമെന്ന് ഏകകണ്ഠമായി ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നതും.
